Moreover, it can support the advancement of knowledge, the development of policy, or the solution of social or environmental problems. Lastly, it can demonstrate your ethical and social responsibility as a researcher.

I am working with longtudinal qualitative data. the biggest challenge is the cumulative factor which increases the risk of identifiability. It is important to view data through different lens to address this risk. And to give participants the power to retract any data. The book "Qualitative Longitudinal Research" (2020) by Neale Bren is a good place to start thinking about these issues.
