In this case, outsourcing is a smart option to choose as it pays off much quicker than training the existing personnel. On the downside, it requires additional investment, but to my mind it is a worthwhile one as long as you know that your product is in the hands of specialists who possess sufficient knowledge in the field.

Whilst agile ways of working prioritise flexibility and adaptability, this allows for changes in project scope and requirements. However, it’s common for outsourcing contracts to have fixed scope and rigid contractual terms. If the contract lacks provisions for change, or if the outsourcer challenges change requests, the project may face difficulties in adapting to evolving client needs, leading to project delays and or failure.
