So unless this comes in a kind of paste I fail to see how this would work.. for some reason I'm imagining it as a sheet so probably my fault. Anyway the thing about thermal paste/grease is it fills the microscopic gaps and grooves that exist on both the heatsink and CPU. But if it works then I'm all for it.. because there are so many industrial and commercial compounds that are already wildly used and are potentially harmful. Heck just check out what's beneath your kitchen sink or what goes into (or out of) your vehicle.

Why don't component manufacturers start thinking a little more outside of the box and change the standard ATX design for consumer products and start looking at other designs. Today with our massive GPU's and Heatsinks were kind of hitting walls (some quite literally). I am imagining a kind of 360 design (it can be a polygon) that has 2 or 3 interconnected mainboards. Think of a GPU or CPU that is connected to a mobo on both ends where the PCIe connections are. They can be vertical or horizontal based on the best way to move air. Or maybe a motherboard for motherboards design (essentially everything is like a GPU with a processor and RAM and built in cooling) PCIe 5.0 is just around the corner.. and I'm running out of room so I'll leave it..
