The project is divided into multiple phase/milestones with desired timeline and no scope change. Each team member must be assigned responsibilities which includes design, development and quality assurance then deployment. New phase will start upon completion of previous milestone and delivered to customer.

Although there are many stages aimed to plan, design, development and testing the final product, Waterfall methodology has it's disadvantages. The main is it's inability to return back to the previous stage which leads many waterfall teams to run their project from beginning. The risk task begins when it is detected and managers follow its development. In this case, managers/developers should try to identify the product features which are strengthening the risk and try to replace them. If the risk chart goes down then the risk is considered to be low prioritized.

To manage the project risk is the main crucial part. While analyzing the project need to make a list of the certain possibilities. Risk matrix will be helpful. As per the priority and the project flow by checking upon dependency need to take perfect decision on time for the risk factor.

One should evaluate the outcome based on the efforts made by the team, the quality of the product, the client's satisfaction, budget, and end user reviews. The above information can be used to determine what improvement area needs the most attention.
