Valuation is a key data point for decision making by corporates/financial institutions. A few important points to look at a valuation report would be : - assumptions made - how updated are the data points used - projections (how achievable are they) - how relevant are the valuation methodologies used for that specific entity - credibility and expertise of the firm doing the valuation While there are many other aspects, the above are very relevant points to keep in consideration.
