In case of lagging indicator such as leak, Leaders should drive the discussion into what is the root cause of the leak, and the potential risks and what can be done to control and mitigate the risk, instead of challenging the classification to lower the Tier. 2. The discussion on KPI should resulted in action and decision, don't stop at just showing the number. 3. Avoid Analysis paralysis — too many metrics. Select and focus on the important few 4. Focus on the Red but "Challenge" the green. Beware of manipulation or team massaging the number to look better
