To make it easy to manage both ends I firmly believe in and follow these guidelines; because the project implementation team always feels that they are a temporary part of a project and just here to install, run, train the trainers, and hand over the product without any reservations whereas the IT operations team believes they are responsible for supporting and maintaining in hand product, so basically it is important to tell the implantation team members that the implemented product will always have their genes and users will always remember this team as a product parent; whereas IT operations team should be given an impression that now on they have to super manage the classic product as a lifetime product guardian.

In my experience, these three areas discussed are driven by financial mgt—what kind of spending allocation and how much, and are we fulfilling an agreement or is this spending an investment. Stakeholder mgt addresses the people and organizations involved and their expectations, operations are the actions needed to fulfill a contractional agreement, written or verbal, and project implementation is new spending to create value. All three of these are investments where the outcomes increase or decrease operating costs and budgets.
