First decide on your user demographic. If you are making an AR experience for people that use social media and in an assumption that they already have these applications installed on their phone then go with Meta Spark Studio, Snapchat Lens Studio,Effect house from tik tok. If you are making for people who you think will install a specific application or embedded into an existing application use AR Core or AR Kit. If you think your audience doesn’t look likely that they’ll download any app or have social media go for web Aframe,three.js,8th wall,zappar etc..

Animation triggers are what bring the experience to life.Having a clear understanding of when and how to play the animation is key. For example let’s say there is an AR experience that is embedded onto a cereal box and that image on the box to be trigger for the AR experience while animation trigger might be a button that user has to click or it can also be creative like user having the shake the box. Post this trigger when the animation plays it gives a sense of amusement and sense of participation to the user think of it like the ikea effect. One more important thing to consider is to make sure this action that needs to be performed is clearly and easily understood and communicated to the user else the experience becomes static.

4 Testing and optimization

The final step is to test and optimize your AR animation, to ensure that it works properly, looks good, and performs well on different devices and environments. You should test your animation on various aspects, such as accuracy, stability, responsiveness, realism, and usability.
