Feedback is one of the most important way that can help students find out their strengths and weaknesses. One of the best ways for students to work on their weakness is through some assessment, be it a small class activity. This helps students find out what they have understood well and the areas they need to work on. Feedback can be given directly too to the students, but this needs to be done in a way that does not demotivate the students.

Feedback refers to the information and guidance provided to students regarding their performance, progress, and understanding of a subject or skill. It is an essential component of the learning process as it helps students understand their strengths, areas for improvement, and how to further develop their knowledge and skills.

Formative feedback are the best. It helps students to identify knowladge gaps and areas to be improved. Further, it will help them to identify their misunderstandings.

According to my understanding and experience, feedback is a piece of information which is provided to a concerned person which either appreciates a particular task or provides the list of areas where the person needs to look upon and improve. Feedback is useful information which builds confidence, knowledge, accountability and responsibility. Feedback can also be any information that helps us to see the faults in our work and gives us the right direction to progress.

Providing timely feedback is crucial for students' success. When giving feedback, we should ensure it's helpful, focused, and positive. Consider factors like their past results, starting point, and anything else that might influence their ability to reach their goals. I believe thoughtful feedback, considering all these factors, will certainly help students progress in their educational journey.

Dessa forma, feedbacks assumem o importante papel de guiar as a??es de constru??o de conhecimento dos estudantes, fazendo com que os mesmos detectem pontos desafiadores, que precisam de melhora, ou aspectos positivos já consolidados. Feedbacks eficientes funcionam como a voz da consciência do aluno, estimulando-o à melhorias e a mudan?as em sua rota de aprendizado, quando necessário.

In my opinion, the first and most important step for taking and giving a feedback is to understand it's purpose. Implementing a Feedback system could also mean walking on egg shells as people are entuned to feel offended easily while accepting criticism. So, arranging orientation sessions that help individuals understand and accept how feedback also works for their betterment could be a valuable addition to this system. Also training people on how to give feedback that are based on personal opinions and are descriptive, is really needed. Individuals need to be trained on giving feedback that is constructive and in the limits of what we may call respectful bounds.

Para que la retroalimentación sea "una herramienta sana del aprendizaje" has de preparar muy bien los comentarios, las aportaciones y el contexto en el que dicha retroalimentación se va a producir. Recuerda que "los halagos en público" siempre son bienvenidos, mientras que no lo son tanto las críticas. Procura acercarte de manera respetuosa y positiva a los estudiantes, con la mente puesta en que el objetivo final es que el proceso de aprendizaje avance de manera positiva. Y no olvides que cuando se están buscando unos logros y la mayoría no los están consiguiendo...hay que revisar que está pasando y quizás darle una vuelta a tu propia metodología.

I give specific, concrete, and evidence-based, and that describes what the student did well and what they need to improve, rather than judging or praising them. I give clear, relevant, and timely, and provide students with specific suggestions, examples, or resources that they can use to improve their work or skills.
