I miss one very important point here. :-) With technologies like Industry 4.0 the OT environment gets a complete different focus. I f - with or without Edge computing - also OT will be openend a bit to the Internet/Cloud, this need complete differen security conciderations like before. Also, if inter-machine communication in the network will grow and with this the data load in the network, then the old approach of enterprise networks will run into a dilemma, the massive data in OT can have impact to the enterprise network @all. So the full split of OT from the enterprise network is more or less a must have, a couple of companies already have this done, others are still in one network. So OT is for me also one key focus in infrastructure.
