What are the emerging job roles created by technological innovation?

Within the banking industry, the role of AI Specialists has become increasingly critical. Many initially were extremely pessimistic related to AI replacing jobs. I am not denying that AI will not replace jobs as it already impacted the industry. However, the impact of AI is so immense that now many individuals regardless of whatever field they are are willing to learn the technology. This means many jobs related to AI Training, AI Advocacy, Ethical Use of AI and many more new fields of opportunities are getting emerged ??

The explosion of data presents a double-edged sword. Data fluency – the ability to translate data into actionable insights – is crucial. But true innovation comes from combining data science with domain expertise. Imagine a medical data scientist collaborating with a cardiologist to develop an AI-powered heart disease prediction model. The future belongs to those who can bridge the gap between raw data and real-world problems.

For example, contact center staff are increasingly asked to provide customer tech support. The overall number of inbound customer inquiries may decrease (in the longer term) but in the short term, they are become more technical in nature as the job-to-be-done shifts from “how to do x” to “how do I use your website/app/bot to do x.” (And these tech support call often takes longer than the former requests to perform a transaction.)

There is no particular job roles that can increase or decrease in future. We are certainly living in an uncertainty as AI kind of rapidly changing everything in terms of how work should be implemented in all kinds of fields. The only thing which will be important in future is to stick to whatever you know and specializing in it in the best way possible. In addition, trying to adapt to the latest technology by continuous learning so that those certain keywords can be in your resume.
