?Gestionar la incertidumbre es la clave en el rendimiento de las operaciones de planta?. Y seguir de cerca los KPIs nos da una lectura de cómo van las operaciones. Pero mi punto de inflexión, es qué, más allá de los números y metas, es que tenga un sentido para los empleados involucrados en el proceso. Y la verdad es que no hay una fórmula mágica?. Pero cómo lo hago yo para darle sentido: 1. Cálculo en costos: el equivalente a una parada de un equipo x hora, una baja de rendimiento por una fuga, por un desperdicio. 2. Muestro a los operadores lo que estamos perdiendo y comprendiendo cómo se tabula. 3. Discutimos las desventajas y los beneficios de prever los problemas. 4. Nos remangamos la camisa y mejoramos lo que hay que mejorar.

Measuring employee feedback is one thing, encouraging it in the first place is sth different. Despite its title, I think this article deals with the latter rather than the former. At any rate, I believe the trickiest thing with meaningfull feedback is that it invariably has to do with sth that could probably be better. So you need to get people down the chain of command to give you "negative" albeit well-meant remarks, break to you the bad news and so forth. But this is hard and will seldom happen, unless they feel completely safe and free to do so. So there is what you have to work on.
