Há alguns anos atrás assumi a lideran?a de uma nova equipe e decidi adotar uma abordagem aberta e pessoal. Marquei reuni?es individuais com cada membro da equipe, onde aproveitava a oportunidade para conhecer suas experiências passadas, estilos de trabalho e, principalmente, suas preferências de comunica??o. Sometimes we communicate in a top-down way that means one manager tells one subordinate a message with the expectation that it will be shared to that person's reports or teammates. Often, the message gets lost in interpretation or the first person to hear it forgets to share. So, it's beneficial to confirm the communication occurred. Similarly, we usually believe we were clear in our speech or writing, but our audience may not receive the message we intended. It's important to confirm understanding, sometimes as simply as by asking the recipient to repeat back what was communicated in their own words.

Flexibility and adaptability: Recognize that communication preferences can change over time or depending on the situation. Be open to adapting your communication style to meet the needs of your team members and encourage them to communicate in ways that work best for them.

Communication is a process of sending and receiving information/data among individuals. It is the most important skill required to live a successful life. It is the key to sharing and developing good relationship and the success depends on proper understanding of the parties involved in it. The effective ways include being an influencer through expression, active listening, respecting views and responding effectively. Surveys, interviews, friendliness, open mindedness, informal conversation, teamwork are some preferred ways that can highlight the personality, culture, context and mood of the team member.
