??One of the big questions for non-profits is: who are we #accountable to? ??I believe that soliciting feedback from the communities we work with is more than a good practice. We agree that we are accountable to the communities we work with. ?? Then why do we spend so much time justifying our projects with financiers and so little justifying and holding accountability before the communities we work with? ????The weight of upside-down accountability can distract us from our purpose. ? Can this be reconsidered with our partners and supporters? ? We need a new mindset: one of trust, inclusion and participation of all agents. ? Deep feedback sessions with our communities are essential for a more just approach to social intervention.
