Is it clear, logical, and coherent? Does it use sound reasoning and avoid fallacies? Is it balanced, fair, and respectful? Does it acknowledge different perspectives and uncertainties? If the content is irrelevant, inaccurate, or inconsistent, you should be doubtful and critical about the information.
Follow the trail for the content itself. Any reputable source should tell you where its information and data came from and where you can find it yourself. Trace that line backward to make sure the information is based on truth.
