Sometimes, the work any visiting faculty is seen as an adjunct position and can be on part time or full time capacity.

Eso es una buena oportunidad para diversificar la oferta en recursos didácticos al no estar atado a la norma o a la modalidad institucional de trabajo y a la vez puede ser más probable generar expectativas y atención de parte de los destinatarios e incluso colegas. Lo he experimentado personalmente y es altamente enriquecedor en ambos sentidos (feedback) y, como en los viajes, después de la experiencia uno no vuelve siendo el mismo.

Allow me to add my personal experience as an expatriate: The biggest challenge which I am facing right now as a foreigner is how to get started here without having the experience in this country. I have had two successful interviews with two top universities, and despite the fact that my interviews went perfectly well, they refused to hire me because I didn't have a teaching experience in this country (though I have more than seven years experience in my home country with outstanding performance and several awards). To survive, I started a tourism business with my friend while still looking for a visiting position. So, I can't start teaching because I don't have the experience here, but how will I get the experience? Isn't it a puzzle?

Y como no se tratará ?solamente de una actividad 100% en tiempo académica, interiorizarse de costumbres, cultura, comidas, etc. Eso acerca a las personas y mejora todo.

I think that is a good idea to create an association of international education visitors, which will be a corner to start a regulated environment.
