Podemos hablar de una infinidad de herramientas en las cuales un ingeniero de soporte debe ser experto. La realidad es que mucho dependerá del área en la cual te encuentres trabajando habrá muchos ramos en cuales especializarte en mi opinion personal podría recomendar trabajar en escuchar, relacionar con problemas que hayan sido experiencias similares, tener una adaptación al cambio ya que en ocasiones es posible que retos nuevos necesiten ser investigados con articulos o personas que hayan tenido experiencias similares. Trabajar en equipo con el personal y sobre todo nunca olvidar que estamos atendiendo a personas que pueden desconocer algun tema como nos puede pasar a nosotros, ayudarlos con una buena actitud y amabilidad siempre.

The challenge is that we must have patience when serving users, because users will definitely feel annoyed if their device has problems. For example, where I work, if the WiFi experiences problems, users will be annoyed and say words that are sometimes hurtful. therefore patience is needed. The opportunity is that we become people who can easily find solutions to every problem that occurs and have a lot of knowledge

In my experience as a technical support engineer, I feel a major task that is being overlooked as the responsibility of a support engineer is a good customer service experience. Aside from providing timely support and solutions to problems, your reception and approach to resolving a client’s problems says more about your professionalism and how fast they’ll give you answers to the questions you ask while trying to resolve their problem.

The tip is to often explore the internet regarding problems with devices in general, and continue to learn to be calm when dealing with users and try to influence them so that they can also be calm.

The first and most important thing is communication with your stakeholders. Make sure you understand what you are supporting and how to prioritize reported issues. You should act based on the priority of reported issues and aim to resolve in the agreed SLA's.

As a support engineer I use whatever resource I find useful in order to help me resolve an issue. Most important to have is 'Reading with understanding' quality, which is the best weapon to tackle problems.

as technical support, I think we don't have any special tools for working, what I really need is Google or other search engines for us to look for information, or guidebooks.
