What does a school treasurer do?

A school treasurer maintains the pivot ensuring efficient handling of financial resources for the school . Their charter of duties includes maintaining inflow and outflow of funds ,sources of revenue/ expenditure , financial budgeting and forecasting, preparation of financial statements, approval of funds,preparation of invoices/ receipts/ payments vouchers, reconciliation of financial records in adherence to the relevant laws , rules, regulations in existence.
