Keep abreast of everything around you, largely because public speaking requires you to be aware of things. Watching and Listening to good quality public speakers will subconsciously help you understand various styles and techniques. 3) Try & Seek Feedback from near ones. Nothing better than honest constructive feedback in controlled conditions 4) Get on stage, and keep repeating :)

When deciding to join a speaking club, I found that its easy to pay money, but far difficult to maintain the motivation levels when the excitement dies down. Hence, creating a shiny speaking goal in mind is crucial before we embark on the public speaking journey in a club. Finally vague goals such as: "I want to be more confident", "I want to overcome fear of public speaking" "I want to increase my sales via public speaking" often leads to vague results. Create a goal that can be measured.
