A self assessment of one’s career ambitions would be a proper first stop in the process as it would lay foundation for the type of mentor appropriate to add value to the mentee. Next would be to find individuals with a proven track record of successes in the agribusiness space. These individuals would often be found both in corporate spaces and agri-preneurs. The choice between the two hinges as I mentioned earlier, on the mentee’s personal ambitions.
