What do you do if you're facing multiple deadlines in IT Strategy?

Siempre es importante la priorización y la racionalización de los proyectos, recursos, plazos, presupuestos, y estar preparados para afrontar los problemas de forma eficaz y proactiva. Llevar un diagrama Gantt no es suficiente, ya que se requiere una adecuada coordinación del equipo y el apoyo de los stakeholders, para que todos los miembros sigan los mismos objetivos.

You need to be able to drop everything and get the thing done. Sometimes we don’t have enough bandwidth and that’s the best time to reach out for help. I used to be super afraid and maybe too proud to ask others for help, but this is a bad approach because it is a recipe for burnout.

This is a common ailment for leaders..There are multiple projects in the basket so much so that one cannot complete in their respective tenure. nusually this happens when multiple objectives are listed in current context and we are trying to fullfill many of them in parralel. This will end up in having multiple deadlines target days for your work. We need to identify the work which can be achieved fastest, the ones with the smallest to largest scope and finally the ones with the highest return/value. The targets that can be achieved sooner needs to be brought closer and completed fast within by isolating key results, while continuing to completed the ones with the easiest scope next we should parallelly focus on the big tickets in parallel.

Effectively strategize your responsibilities and proficiently divide your time, resources, and energy. It would be beneficial to devise a practical, comprehensive plan of action for each undertaking, subdividing the duties into achievable portions. Setting definitive and explicit objectives, benchmarks, and timeframes for both yourself and your team is also crucial. Additionally, monitoring your productivity and accomplishments is vital. Anticipating potential setbacks, whether they are unanticipated problems, modifications, or postponements, and preparing alternative strategies or contingency plans is also advisable.

Avoid excuses, prioritize based on impact, and tackle tasks promptly without postponing.
