The big difference between being in a company and freelance is not so much the work as the management of your own finances etc. You'll probably earn significantly more as a freelancer so have 2 bank accounts. Pay your revenue into the first account and then your transfer a small regular income to the second account. Build a buffer in the good times to protect for more difficult times. Otherwise you risk your mental health when times are tough.
