Think like a business coach. In my experience, most business coaches I meet or train do not know how to grow or build a sustainable business coaching…. … business. They are good at the coaching… the service delivery end … but not the BDM end. So think it through - be your own coach.

I find networking is very important for freelancer to be known in the market space. Networking provide the space for for the coach to understand the common challenge in the market space and sharing of storied on how the coach can add value in addressing those issues or even collaborate with like minded people on meaningful projects

Man ist zus?tzlich Marketingexperte, Buchhalter, Akquisiteur, etc. Dessen sollte man sich bewusst sein. Es ist gut, m?glichst zügig diese Dinge an entsprechende Fachleute abzugeben, um selbst seine Passion zu leben.

If you are considering free lancing I would try and find out first whatis your expertise, style and possibly industry/functional expertise. Also people forget about some level of liability insurance due to our litigious society in America. I as an example have expertise in the following areas: Commercial Insurance, Finance, Marketing, Legal, Actuarial, and business. I didn't plan this in my career however looking back I couldn't have planned it any better. Lastly, understanding your clients as there are some no matter what counsel you provide will not listen. And finally, "Don't get offended if they don't take your counsel."
