Don't be. People development is vital for any organization. View delegation as shaping building blocks to support a larger structure and to grow your team skills. The approach is front end loaded but pays off in dividends. The ROI is lucrative. The methodology should be planned such that delegation does not result in interruption to operations or in not-vetted major decisions impacting maintenance or project work.
