This does not mean that everyone will always be available to chat and answer questions in that space, rather a space where all communication can be contained and relied upon. Whether it be Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WhatsApp, etc, having communication localized will keep the team in better communication.

One of the things that helps me with managing time zone difference is to always be clear about your hours. In every email you send that has information containing time and dates, offer time and dates for both your time zone and the person you are inquiring for a meeting. I also use World Time Buddy and snip the different time zones, highlighting the time so it is visible and clearly distinguished.
