What do you do if your typography fails to effectively convey a message?

Typography is just as important if not more than the image when I'm working on a project. Choosing the right font can be stressful given all the choices but when you are aware of the different type of fonts then you'll be able to marry the right font combos for any project. Remember to trust your eyes as well as your gut when creating.

It is usually not ideal to write text on an image. Text on a crowded image makes it harder to read leading to message not being conveyed. However, if you have to use text on an image there should be high contrast between text and image. Text should be on the empty parts of the image.

While left-aligned text is often the default and works well for readability in most cases, experimenting with other alignments such as center, right, or justified can add variety and visual interest to your layout. However, be mindful that justified text can sometimes result in uneven spacing between words, which may affect readability. Typography is the voice of the brand...if you don't get this right you will fail to convey the personality to your audience, or even to speak to the right audience altogether. Research is key. Get to know the brand inside out.
