Normally I do a gemba walk and explore each place of my team, with this I gain a status of the department's situation, I detect if the teams need to be resolved immediately, and with my presence I will realize the correct question for my team. For example: What do you need? What do you think of the department? Do you think your tools are enough to carry out your daily activities? Do you have any opinion on the machines? What do you think of your workplace? In this case, when you are involved in the department, your team will be telling you the deficiencies, they will share all the details about the situation of the tools they use daily. Being a leader is understanding the needs for you employees.

Most of the time the root cause for low productivity is Non standardized process. Firstly, draft a SOP for the process to be carried out. Secondly, Train the team on SOP. Thirdly, Seek feedback from team in order to improvise the process and Finally, Utilize the Visual management tools to guide team on executing the tasks and monitor the progress
