DBA Job and trust defecit are dangerous combination and needs to be fixed. To start with bridging this ensure a good handoff notes on issues faced , problems solved inyour shift are properlu communicated to the team members. Give a heads up for any potential issues that might come up in their time of wor. Once you start doing this selflessly you will start seeing the other person doing the same for you.
