Statistical tools/ AI would definitely guide in projecting numbers, but availability is the nub of the matter. 2. SCF: Effective SCM from start till end requires funds. Here comes the role of transaction-based financing that ensures availability of funds at each level whether through payable finance, supplier finance or receivables finance. A well-knit structure of the above two factor would ensure an optimised and efficient supply chain, ceteris peribus.

It is very important to set your actual status, then establish the optimal condition that you are going to pursue; these points will lead you to a natural GAP analysis. The gap will provide you the information to build an action plan, and you should apply PDCA cycle.
