1 Assess your audience

I've found when companies try to stay in-house with most trainings you don't get the full benefit of what a fresh voice brings. We don't always see what we can't see. When we work in-house we miss so much, and it can cause employees to be lethargic when it comes to content. My first response would be to hire outside. If you have to stay in, then figure out what the people need. Pre and Post Assessments are great for getting valuable information around what may be missing. Ask yourself are you doing more "teaching" or more "interacting". Workshops should be high energy, and full of really good information that can be digested in multiple ways. Assess. Address. Amend.
