To help you overcome that, you need to desensitize yourself, a.k.a. familiar with the unfamiliar by practicing. Here are few suggested ways to practice: 1) Choose the topic that you are GOOD at. Or else, no matter how much practice you put in, you won't have the confidence to carry on. 2) Prepare, prepare, prepare. Nothing beats this legwork. 3) Repeat, repeat, repeat. Repetition reinforces memory. The more you do it, the more competent you become. Just like driving, you become masterful with time. 4) Start small. Don't go deep dive in the ocean, if you can't even swim in the pool. Start with a small friendly crowd first. Have fun!
