A nivel personal, siempre inicio por generar un entorno de empatía, donde trato de entender el punto de vista del otro, aunque no éste de acuerdo. Preguntando, indagando, conversando en actitud de escucha he logrado: 1. Ver la situacion desde la mirada del otro, cambiar mi perspectiva y observar las semejanzas y diferencias que tenemos. 2. En ocasiones darme cuenta que la opinión del otro puede ser una mejor opción, en otras sin embargo, reafirmar mi posición. 3. Generar un contexto en el cual ambas partes estemos en disposición de apertura para llegar a soluciones favorecedoras para ambos. 4. En última instancia llevar la situación a valorar los hechos, sin generar juicios personales. Resguardando las relaciones personales.

Telling someone, "No", or sharing bad news is never easy, but when it's the right answer, it will bolster credibility and trust rather than erode it.
