What do you do if your professional network lacks diversity and inclusivity?

I would start by educating myself on the importance of diversity and also the benefits it brings to all businesses and my community. I love networking events and conferences because I get to meet so many great people from diverse backgrounds. I would make it a habit to engage with individuals from all backgrounds, listen to their stories and perspectives, and learn from their experiences. I would even consider forming partnerships and collaborations with organizations and businesses that promote diversity and inclusivity.

I am and always being open minded person, if for some reason or another I am lacking the diversity in my own network I will start with the question what’s being the main reason behind, is for some reason or another I lost the connection balance and if so why, what was the main drive behind so will purposely trying to open and diverse my network more widely including all possible backgrounds to well balance it to make it easily open and accessible to be called inclusive.

Start expanding bravery your network with all this connections with which you always in a way been skeptical to mix before for some reason or another.

Expand not only your network, expand widely your horizons. Give and take, try not only adding value to yourself try also to add value to others, look what and where they’re lacking knowledge or experience and contribute to their as they would contribute to your own to grow as personality.

Ensure everyone has been valued equally, everyone voice and opinion is listened and valued with equal respect. Being open minded and encouraging the ones not bravery enough to share their thoughts and opinions will add hugely great value.

Being open minded including actively seeking to educate yourself and have very good understanding of different cultures, different religions, different people opinions. That really would give you different perspective of everyone and everything around you. Will really diverse you as individual and create diverse and inclusive networks around you. Never hesitate to try to know and understand the things making you most uncomfortable and out of your comfort zone.
