This article doesn't make much sense to me. The suggestions are valid.... but only when DEVELOPING the presentation. It's far too late to make effective changes (much less MAJOR changes to content and visuals) as you're presenting to a disengaged audience. Put more time into preparing your message. Practice with an audience, listen to their feedback (Did the charts make sense & support my point? How was my pace? What was my call to action?), and incorporate needed changes into your final presentation.
