If it’s a leadership gap, especially at the senior level, then I don’t think there is much an internal team can do in terms of offering internal workshops. These leaders may not be aware of their gap and thus may not be receptive or have the mindset to learn. I would recommend leadership coaching, which may at first sound like addressing a square hole with a round peg, but actually is not. Coaching develops awareness and utilizes reflection and the development of these muscles can help allow the leader to see self their decision making through another perspective to then self correct vs. having another person correct them. We don’t tend to resist the changes we recommend and make for ourselves.

It's a tricky question to answer without more context about the org and the leaders who need improved decision skills. One thing that's essential, and often overlooked, is the need for clear company and team priorities. Leaders need a good understanding of what the company wants to accomplish in order to be able to make good decisions about their strategy, possible tradeoffs, what to say "no" to, what work is important, etc. Hand-in-hand with clear priorities is clear and frequent communication from the top, especially when priorities change. Understanding the context around a change enables leaders to adapt their decisions to the new direction. So, maybe it's not a decision skill gap, but a communication gap from the top down?
