The business that are responding to AI well are resourcing their staff to upskill and engage with AI. A lot of this comes down to the reimagining of workplace culture - and the creation of a new people-centric culture that understands that the future of work will be about the collaborative nature of humans with AI (not humans vs. AI). Everyone can use AI, but hardly anyone is trained to do it properly and corporations would be well advised to issue guidance on this. Step 1: identify the AI tools you deem useful for your organization (an expert can help). Step 2: take a decision on the acceptable use policy. Who may apply AI and how should the output of AI be utilised? More importantly, what kind of information may be shared with AI tools (most of which have servers outside the EU wich can lead to GDPR issues)? Step 3: Write all of this down in an internal guidebook and roll out training for the people identified in Step 1. Get professional help for the training. If your data is highly sensitive, consider getting an inhouse AI that keeps the data inside the company.
