What do you do if your organization lacks a culture of innovation?

It is important to assess and appraise existing performance, contributors and teams, and available resources. It is equally important to understand the market and economy. In order to understand the market, one has to also balance the supply-demand equation. Then slowly open up communication within the organisation, allowing every member in the teams to express themselves and give new ideas and suggestions, as per the need of the situation. Motivate all for change management, giving suitable and sufficient perks for initiators. I am sure there will be at least one individual or one team open to new ideas, and new strategies.

From a leadership perspective, I try to take a holistic approach to influence the culture, fostering change and driving innovation. At the heart of my innovation strategy lies a comprehensive analysis. This involves internal and external diagnoses, leveraging analytics to establish a baseline. By identifying patterns of change and potential challenges, I assess our organization's capabilities, assets, and competencies. This multi-faceted approach allows me to involve diverse stakeholders in crafting innovative solutions to meet emerging needs, uncertainty and change.

You first of all need to assess anf understand what the situation is and why people are not motivated to be innovative. Build and encourage new ideas sharing, you can also give team challenges and request fir solutions to maybe challenges in ongoing projects so people start feeling free to open up. Appreciate and reward innovation on the team Add it as a performance objective for every team member so the culture starts growing

Have a curious mindset and ask questions: 1. Assess the organization's current culture of innovation. 2. Discover innovation best practices. 3. Find like-minded innovation champions in your organization. 4. Be profoundly humble and have furious resolve. 5. Share best practices with influencers and decision makers.

Develop the vision in a facilitated workshop. You can build it over a number of workshops, if needed, and encourage the participants to socialize it in between, thus engaging others.

Como podemos avanzar si no sabemos a dónde ir!!! No comunicar la Visión de la empresa, del producto, lleva a construir sin fin, sin objetivo. De nada sirve que la visión quede en el c-level, todo equipo, todo consultor debe conocer y empujar hacia esa visión.

In my experience, organisation may not change its vision and mission every now and then!! But an organisation could improve their culture every year, month or day and even a moment with leveraging approach, quality management, emphasising its workers. If culture of an organisation improves the brand value will reach greater heights. All we need is to be creative enough with deeper understanding organisation values and its measurement.

Se puede hacer una especie de chat bots para agendar citas, recordar procesos, o un simple saludo a todos, es altamente importante y lo mejor es que es amigable.

It would help to first figure out whether "culture of innovation" even resonates with your org. Is that the language they would use? Start from a place of what the org wants (more specifically what the ppl of the org want), where they are looking to go, etc. That will then naturally lead to, "how do we get there?" And what "there" is and the language they would use to describe it. Most likely things that need changing (or innovation) will come up. Use that as the impetus for what's next. You will have better buy-in.
