Yes, Kaizen - continuous improvement. Find the steps of the process where most effort/time is needed and start there. Evaluate if the input information/material of this process is defective, and find ways to eliminate or block that. Find innovative ways or materials to make the process more performative without compromising security and quality. Do small, controlled tests, to see if the changes are worth it. Talk to the people who are directly involved in the process. Talk to the vendors and suppliers that are providing material/information to the process. Involve all of them in the continuous improvement process.
