Implement a tiered storage approach, categorizing data into hot, warm, and cold storage tiers based on usage patterns and access frequency. Introduce intelligent tiering mechanisms to automatically handle transfers between these layers as the data ages, optimizing storage costs and performance. Prioritize serving analytics on hot data whenever possible to minimize latency and maximize efficiency. Well if the data is becoming overwhelming that means that something is actually been done wrong, and you would need to acually evaluate the current data engineering processes and workflows that you are using and then identify bottlenecks to the data pipeline,maybe it could be the integration that is failing ,could also be the the orchestration tool you might be using may be actually failing you or the data storage facilities you are using is not perfoming well after this revise the data model to optimize perfomance and queries

There are s many etl tools nowadays but the tool you actually pick means has to be compatible with the kind of budget you are on anf data needs, data pipeline integration and orchestration play a big part in the data pipelin process if one is not done the right way it may fail.Example if loding the data you are using a layer of Apache spark then you can sift and use Apache flink which i think does better,just an example of a tool alternative that you can use,look at your data if its enormous then using python to handle it actually might be a reason for fail instead you can use spark for all these

The benifit of using ETL tools is we can optimize the data in such a way that only required data is loaded, all the other uncessary coloumns and rows can be removed, which will help in optimising storage and make the processing faster. Make sure the in the transformation part initially itself all the unwanted datas are removed and only necessary data is being processed.

ETL pipeline should be optimised to handle that volume. Code should be effective and shouldn't cause any performance issue while doing complex transformation.

You can also use specialist consultants for specific projects, or upskill your current engineering team. 2. Scaling your infrastructure can be made easier by using a cloud-based solution. However, be cautious of the potential scalability costs as well. 3. Migrating to a modern solution might be the ultimate form of scaling. It might require a lot of hard work, but don't be afraid of the decision. It simply means your business has outgrown the previous stage and your current systems and software can no longer keep up.

To ease the handling of high volume data, it's always recommended to divide the data into batches and treat each batch separately. Eventually data loading(E) and transformation(T) will become set of common steps and procedure to execute on batches before loading into data platform(L). These operations can be streamlined in workflow management tools like Airflow. Custom work flows automates batch processing and gives more control to data engineers for monitoring and maintaining large data set.

Well for me automation makes work very easy ,as long as data quality checks and control is part of the pipeline then actually this makes sure that data is in continous flow in areas where they require real time streaming,the data quality checks should be such that the pipeline sould fail in case of cahnge of schema and cases of different datatypes then it shouls actually be transformed
