most organizations have done away cabins (i repeat MOST), this is not just aesthetic however strategic. however, few organizations still have cadre based sitting which is kind of disheartening and truly dis-respectful. Millennials now have different modes to get their queries responded.. physical presence yet cannot be undermined.

I have had privilege of working with few managers in my early days #vikas namjoshi and #K S Parag who were so positive that your issues would get addressed when you open the cabin door and see their faces. Asking an employee for a solution actually nullifies your respect than existence. Not a good Managerial practice.

Mentoring is a great way to develop and share new insights and skills for everyone involved. Engaging existing team members who are potential future leaders in a mentoring programme for junior team members is a great way to develop talent across the organisation. Seek volunteers, or select promising team members who have experience within your organisation and pair each of them as a mentor for one or more junior employees. Senior executives can then act as mentors to the newly appointed mentors. Regularly check in with everyone to evaluate individual performance, give/receive feedback and improve the process.
