En realidad no estoy de acuerdo en crear tabla por cada Subcategoria, ejemplo tabla persona, tendríamos tablas como sexo, genero, Estado Civil, ocupación,profesion, etc, terminamos con 1000 tablas similares, si catalogamos en una sola tabla estas con idpk,iddesc,descripcion, es más eficiente y más con estos ambientes de hoy tan exigentes y dinamicos, una tabla maestro, y detalle, y listo, llenarse de tablas, crear mini maestros, es malgastar tiempos de desarrollo, tiempos de procesamiento, soporte y dinero. Eso si con una buena documentación y diccionario de datos.
