Agree with everything has been posted, but everyone is missing a few crucial points when deploying new technology. 1. Complexity of the technology. I have experienced this at a previous employer where they deployed a laser system for a needed step in the pharma process, but the system was overly complex to the point that it required almost an engineer to run it. 2. Training. Like I said above, if the technology is too complex, then you really need to ask yourselves, is it worth it.? 3. Service Support. Does this new technology provide local service support? Or will you need to fly engineers every time there is an issue. A lot of engineers and leaders miss this point and ultimately manufacturing pays the consequences.

Analysis of data/indicators. - Focus on what is countable or measured, because if so it can be controlled. - Determine root cause of deficiencies, losses, quality etc. - Identify similar success stories. - Analyze the best solution, implementing technology that can be standardized in the future and/or replicated.

1. First I will see what is my main aim to achieve. 2. Then to understand the currents process and its overheads. 3. What specific optimization technique to adapt to cut down specific overhead. 4. Which new technique is most optimized without large burning & risk assessment. 5. Analysis & SORT the right option. 6. Find implementation needs. 7. Finalize ROI, Cost and effects to overall project. 8. Selection of supplier and service provider and finalization of maintenance and warranty cost.

To optimize industrial processes with new technology: 1. Identify areas to improve. 2. Stay up-to-date on relevant advancements. 3. Assess feasibility, considering cost and compatibility. 4. Check if the company has adopted the technology and ask about testing and implementation. 5. Make changes based on pilot tests, including equipment updates, staff retraining, or workflow modifications. 6. Continuously monitor and adjust optimized processes. 7. Research new technologies, train employees, and regularly assess operations to stay competitive.

Communication is the most important part in control systems, and if new control systems with remote capability can be done from several points, the accuracy of the system will increase and the time of stopping the machine will be significantly reduced. Considering new standards in industrial automation and its expansion in other industries and practical application can increase the quality of products. Also, updating and training design engineers can increase the accuracy of control systems and significantly reduce maintenance costs.
