Controlar as condi??es do problema é muto importante em um projeto geotécnico, realizar campanha de investiga??o geológica e realizar ensaios de campo e laboratório, para melhor entendimento do material e baseados nos dados fornecidos pelos ensaios, tomar as melhores medidas no que tange o nosso problema geotécnico.

Hi, Being a Geologist/Geotechnical Engineer I will follow the below points. 1. Site Visit if possible. 2. Review the provided solution. 3. Arrange a meeting with the site execution engineers. 4. Review the project geotechnical reports and execution methodology. 5. Check the structural requirements and ground behavior/type. 6. Common issue - Ground improvement, water seepage, concrete detachment/cracks, deformation. 7. So many solutions are in the geotechnical engineering to tackle problems. Here the most challenge, is how to execute the solution methodology in right way with the site worker and supervisor because expert cannot stay full time at site. Need to be educate the ground staff. No contexto da engenharia geotécnica, a avalia??o das necessidades para solu??o do problema deverá seguir um roteiro geral no seguinte rumo: - Mapeamento geológico-geotécnico; - Campanha de investiga??o geológico-geotécnica complementar; - Ensaios de campo e laboratório; - Projeto e execu??o da interven??o.

En effet avant tout projet une étude est nécessaire afin d'avoir une vue d'ensemble de la structure du sol et du projet qu'on va lui imposer, sera t'il suffisamment porteur et résistant notamment. Le regard sur les risques est extrêmement important, les PPR ne sont pas créés par hasard, ils nous informent si la zone où se situe le terrain est sensible à des facteurs qui pourront le déstabiliser ou l'endommager. Ainsi en prenant les différents risques et caractéristiques du site, il est possible de limiter les dégats d'une structure

We use tools like mind maps to help organize our thoughts and see how everything fits together.

In big capital letters - involve your client! Involve stakeholders - identify who they are. Research. Don’t underestimate solutions that may have failed before - maybe this time the conditions might be just right. Eg Learn from other mistakes

I think, we need to pick the idea that make sense for our project. We consider things like cost, how they'll affect the project in the short and long term, and if they're good for the environment. We try to be both creative and practical, because sometimes the simplest ideas are the best.

En effet, il ne faut surtout pas oublier qu'une bonne solution même si elle est très chère est nécessaire, si le projet d'une maison est sur vide sanitaire en théorie mais que l'étude révèle des pieux ou un radier le co?t augmentera mais la sécurité des habitants aussi !

Many good solutions never get off the ground because there is no appetite for potential failure and no stomach for the costs associated with that. Modelling helps prove a concept before it goes big scale and that can be as simple as a surrogate or fe analysis
