In my line of work as scientific researcher over 14 years, I have met virtually many people who share passionate about the same topic of renewable energy. From LinkedIn, Facebook, youtube, twitter, research-gate, scientific platforms (e.g. stack-exchange) & Zoom meetings with professionals. It was really exciting journey& it let you to discover alternative way to success in your career rather than old & traditional one based on family or friends in neighborhood.

In my experience social media is a great tool and it highlights you as a brand. You are your own brand just like a company and LinkedIn is a great platform for highlighting your brand both employed or self employed.

A major percentage of the job invites I've gotten are from openings I came across on the social media. Even in the less professional and more social ones like Facebook and Instagram, opportunities abound. Knowing how to scheme through to separate the important information from the rubbish ones can go a long way to determining career growth and opportunities.

That person maybe businessman/women, university professor or governmental consultant. Regard of educational upgrade for Master/Ph.D positions, it definitely will increase your knowledge & open your mind for solving problems in professional methods. Without forget that many reputed institutions & organizations wants high education certificate to face daily challenges in renewable energy.

When I decided to review the course last year, about 35% of the course are new additions from what I learnt in 2018. That's how fast knowledge moves these days. To stay relevant, regular educational upgrade is important.
