Think about what’s causing your hesitation to delegate. Is it because you don’t trust people can do it as good as you? Or perhaps coaching somebody to do your job takes time, and you don’t have it? To deal with such challenges, you may want to investigate the cause. Perhaps investing time in training will give you more confidence that others can do your job, which means you can focus on something else while supporting your team to be productive and highly performing. Anyway, thinking of trying a new approach as an experiment where you can always go back to the old routine helps, so try.
