I always encourage experts to provide contents of standards knowledge and distribute them to newly hired people. It is a waste of time to repeat the describing simple facts that don't need a personal interactions. Taking into consideration that professional people are highly paid they are better to focus the most of their time to their specialized works. Automated onboarding process is also useful for the new entrants because they are not comfort to ask something multiple times that they didn't understand. However, in knowledge management system that may freely review an instruction ten times until they fully get grasp of it.

When we advertise job roles for CRM teams at Supermums we focus on sharing the elements that will stand out and attract candidates - this could include the products they will be working on, the type of company they will work for eg Enterprise or boutique company; detailing the CRM roadmap, if it’s a greenfield implementation, Career progression opportunities and whether the company boasts any awards and the benefits the company offers are just some examples.
