1 Identify the root cause

The first step is to understand why your boss is not recognizing your work. Is it because they are unaware of what you do, or because they have different expectations or priorities? The fact is that in every organization and company, according to the ranking of people, everyone has a duty that he must perform that duty in a proper way and he will be responsible for his duties as well. If my boss does not agree with some of my opinions, I will definitely accept it and perform my duties according to his opinion.

If your contribution is not recognised, then your visiblity in top management needs to be improved. - contribute / bring different perspective to solutions - documents your contribution and share with with your boss - in meeting , try to contribute when your boss’s are there - what I have seen that in manufacturing industries we obey 100% instructions of boss and think that boss will take care of your career which is not good - you should plan your path and think how you could add more value to company rather to your boss - most important , identify your boss’s strength and weakness. Area where boss is not good , master that areas and he will make your visible in front of top management Connect one to one for more insights
