Focus on data & evidence e.g. metrics & industry best practices. 5. Maintain a professional demeanor even if you disagree with your boss's priorities. 6. Be prepared to agree to disagree because your boss might have the final say. 7. Consider long-term options. Note: Open communication & a willingness to find common ground are key to resolving these conflicts.

Be aligned on the purpose and perceived benefits that my boss needs. Once both of us are on the same side, my boss will stand by me 120% and our priorities will be aligned.

We are consultants so it is easy to sit with my boss highlight the situation and align his priorities with my schedule ( I believe no boss anywhere will stop his staff's progress or affect his performance ). just always have an open discussion
