What kind of environment and culture do you prefer? How much risk and uncertainty can you handle? These questions will help you narrow down your options and find the best fit for you.

In my day to day advising and building tech hubs and accelerators internationally, I encounter people daily wanting to work with startups. From professionals to students. The desire of work with startups building new innovations is growing globally. There are two questions I always ask anyone wanting to work with startups. And it it is: 1. What can you bring to your startup ecosystem that does not already exist? 2. Could you become one of the best in your country or in the world at it? If you can answer these two questions you are possibly ready to make that transition. Because to survive and thrive you will need to do something that many others don’t (or won’t) and do it better than many others can. Think about it.
