Initially, I was skeptical of its relevance in the tea industry which still relied on centuries old processes and systems that had endured the test of time. However, over time I experienced a shift in perspective and began to grasp the real meaning and value of LEAN principles which I passionately shared with my team. What I find very useful is contacting industry experts online whom I can ask for recommendations on books, posts, and articles to read to deepen my understanding of the problem and find a theoretical solution to implement in my organization.
